Bangladesh reports 9 more deaths, 306 fresh cases from COVID-19
DHAKA, April 18, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh today reported 9 more deaths from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 306 fresh positive cases overnight.
“Nine more COVID-19 patients died in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll from the pandemic to 84,” IEDCR Director Prof Dr Meerjady Sabrina Flora told a virtual media briefing at the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) in the city through joining it online.
She said the total number of coronavirus cases has surged to 2144 as 306 more people tested positive for the lethal virus in the country over the period.
