DHAKA, April 18, 2020 (BSS) – Jahanara Huq, mother of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq, died of old-age complications at a city hospital in the early hours of today.
She was 85.
Jahanara Huq died around 3.40am at Evercare Hospitals Dhaka (Apollo Hospitals).
She had been suffering from different old-age complications including heart ailments and was under treatment of the hospital since October 27, 2019.
She will be buried at Banani Graveyard following a namaz-e-janaza after Johr prayers at Pani Unnoyon Board Jame Masjid in Banani today.
In a message of condolence, Bangladesh Judicial Service Association expressed deep shock at the death of Jahanara Huq and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
