Palak holds virtual meeting with Natore officials
DHAKA, April 14, 2020 (BSS) – State Minister for Information and
Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak today held a virtual views
exchange meeting with officials, people’s representatives and political
leaders in Natore.
The state minister joined the meeting online from his official residence in
Dhaka and discussed steps taken to stop transmission of coronavirus and the
latest situation in this regard with Natore deputy commissioner (DC),
superintendant of police and civil surgeon.
Palak directed the officials to take effective steps to ensure that the
people follow proper health guidelines to stop transmission of the deadly
virus.
The state minister emphasized on taking necessary safety measures while
harvesting paddy from the Chalan Bil area, commuting of agriculture labours
from one district to another, and marketing the food grains.
“It is possible to tackle any kind of crisis through proper management,” he
said.
Palak directed the officials to set up makeshift kitchen markets in wide
open areas and conduct those maintaining proper social distance.
He also urged the officials to tackle the situation with utmost efficiency,
sincerity and honesty.
