DHAKA, April 13, 2020 (BSS) – Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud today
informed that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) authorities
have assured of taking a special care if any journalist go to the hospital
for COVID-19 test.
“We had urged the BSMMU authorities for taking a measure for testing COVID-
19 case of journalists. Subsequently, they assured of taking a special care
of journalists in this regard,” he said at a view-exchange meeting with
journalists at his official residence here.
Noting that the newsmen are working round the clock to ensure emergency
service, Hasan, also ruling Awami League joint general secretary, urged
authorities of the all media outlets to ensure safety for all journalists.
