All fugitive killers of Bangabandhu will be executed: Kamal

DHAKA, April 12, 2020 (BSS) – Terming the execution of Bangabandhu’s
convicted killer Abdul Majed “a gift of ‘Mujib Year” for the nation, Home
Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal today said all of the remaining five fugitive
killers of Father of the Nation will also be executed after bringing them
back home.

“A convicted killer of Bangabandhu, dismissed captain Abdul Majed, was
executed last night, which is a gift of ‘Mujib Year’ from the Prime Minister
to the nation… the remaining five fugitive killers will also be executed
after bringing them back home,” he said.

Kamal made the remarks while receiving 2,000 packets of relief goods meant
for destitute people from Sate Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury
at his (Kamal’s) Dhanmondi residence this noon. Shippers’ Council of
Bangladesh donated the relief items.

“We have specific information about the location of two fugitive killers
out of the remaining five,” the home minister said, adding the government is
trying its level best to bring back all the fugitive killers of Father of the
Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

For containing the spread of global pandemic coronavirus, he urged the
people to stay home and not to go outside except for emergency needs.

Chairman of Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh Md Rezaul Karim was present on
the occasion, among others.
