Azad has taken over charge as the 40th Chairman of Chattogram Port Authority
(CPA).
Rear Admiral Zulfiqar Aziz handed over charges to the new chairman at CPA
auditorium in a simple ceremony at 12:30 pm on Sunday.
Members of CPA, its directors and departmental heads were present during
the charge-handing ceremony.
Earlier, Rear Admiral Sheikh Mohammed Abul Kalam Azad served as the
Chairman of Mongla Port Authority.
He also handed over the charge to Rear Admiral M Shahjahan as chairman of
Mongla Port Authority, on Thursday.
The outgoing CPA chairman Rear Admiral Zulfiqar Aziz joined the CPA as
director (Engineering) in the year of 2012. He took over charge as the
chairman of the port on January 29, 2018.
He has been transferred to the Armed Forces division after handing over
charge to the new chairman at CPA.
