Free telemedicine service launched in Khulna
KHULNA, April 12, 2020 (BSS) – District administration has introduced free
telemedicine service to provide medical care to people through hotline
numbers amid coronavirus situation, ensuring “stay home” guidelines directed
by World Health Organisation (WHO) to tackle Covid-19 spread.
The district administration in collaboration with Khulna Shishu Hospital
under a project on ‘Providing Home to Home Emergency Medical Service in
Corona’ Crisis through Digital System’ launched the medical service, district
administration sources said.
People will be able to consult with specialized physicians about their
ailments through mobile message or direct dialing and sending email to an
email account. All concerned are requested to contact through hotline number
01794-701555, 01794-611555, 01709-319769 and sending email at
[email protected] from 9 am to 9 pm every day for getting
free medical consultation.
