DHAKA, April 11, 2020 (BSS) – Prime Minister and Awami League (AL)
President Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of
former president of Basurhat Poura AL in Noakhali district and freedom
fighter Mizanur Rahman Saju.
In a condolence message, the prime minister prayed for eternal peace of
the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to his bereaved family
members, colleagues and admirers.
Saju, who had been suffering from kidney ailments for a long, breathed his
last around 5 am today at his residence in Basurhat at the age of 68.
He left behind his wife, a son and four daughters as well as a host of
relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
