One held with hemp in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, April 11, 2020 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion
(RAB) arrested an alleged drug peddler with 1 kg and 700 grams of hemp from
Gobratala village under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila this afternoon.
The arrested person was identified as Md. Erfan Ali, 50, a resident of
Mohipur village under the same upazila.
RAB said acting on secret information, an operation team of RAB-5 from
Chapainawabganj camp raided the aforesaid area around 1:30 pm and arrested
Erfan with the hemp.
Later, the arrested person was handed over to the police of sadar thana.
A case was filed in this connection.
