Barguna AL leader Delwar Hossain passes away
DHAKA, April 9, 2020 (BSS) – President of Amtoli upazila Awami League (AL) of Barguna district GM Delwar Hossain died of old age complications at his Amtoli residence today.
He was 75.
Hossain is survived by his wife, one daughter and two sons, said an AL press release here.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Delwar Hossain.
In a condolence message, the prime minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed her profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
In a separate message, AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader also mourned the death of Delwar Hossain.
