SC judges donate Tk 10 lakh to PM’s relief fund
DHAKA, April 06, 2020 (BSS) – Judges of Bangladesh Supreme Court have
donated Taka 10 lakh to the relief and welfare fund of the Prime Minister
aiming to combat the transmission of the deadly coronavirus in the country.
Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain handed over the cheque of the donation
last evening, Supreme Court spokesperson and High Court Division special
officer Md Saifur Rahman confirmed the matter to BSS.
Meanwhile, the apex court authorities today extended the ongoing general
holiday at all the courts across the country till April 13 to prevent the
transmission of deadly coronavirus.
