67 people fined for violating quarantine rules
DHAKA, April 4, 2020 (BSS) – Mobile courts today fined 67 people for violating administrative order relating to quarantine and ‘stay home’ directives in separate drives in Cumilla and Satkhira.
The 54 violators faced fine of around Taka 56,000 in different upazilas in Satkhira, and 13 violators of around Taka 16, on Dhaka-Chattogram highway at Daudkandi upazila in Cumilla.
Satkhira deputy commissioner Mustafa Kamal confirmed it to BSS.
In Cumilla, Daudkandi upazila assistant commissioner (land) conducted the mobile court with the help of army and highway police.
