Freedom fighter Adv Md. Shahidullah passes away
JAMALPUR, April 4, 2020 (BSS)- Valiant freedom fighter and former Awami League leader Advocate Md Shahidullah passed away this afternoon at the age of 71.
Family sources said former president of district Awami League, Advocate Md Shahidullah suffered a severe heart attack and was rushed to Mymensingh medical College Hospital, where he died at 12:50 pm.
Also former Jamalpur Zila Parishad Chairman, Advocate Shahidullah left behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held at government Ashek Mahmud college field in the town after Isha prayer. He will be buried at Jamalpur municipality freedom fighter graveyard with state honor.
State Minister for Information, Dr Murad Hassan, MP, Abul Kalam Azad, MP, Mirza Azam, MP, Engineer Mozaffar Hossain, MP, Faridul Haque Khan Dulal, MP, president of district Awami League, Advocate Md Baki Billah, Chairman, Jamalpur Zila Parishad and Secretary of District AL, Faruk Ahamed Chowdhury, President of District Bar Association, Advocate Md Amanullah Akash and Mayor of Jamalpur Municipality Mirza Shakhawatul Alam Moni expressed profound shock at the death of the senior AL leader.
