Anisul condoles death of ex-land minister Sherif
DHAKA, April 2, 2020 (BSS) – Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of veteran politician and former land minister Shamsur Rahman Sherif.
In a message of condolence, Anisul recalled the contribution of Sherif in the politics of the country as well in Awami League and in modernisation of country’s land system.
The law minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed his profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Shamsur Rahman Sherif, the parliament member from Pabna-4 constituency and the president of Pabna district Awami League, breathed his last this morning while undergoing treatment at a city hospital at the age of 80.
