MYMENSINGH, April 1, 2020 (BSS) – Two persons were killed as a truck hit
them in Kachuripara area under Nandial upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased were identified as Shirajul Islam, 55, son of Amjad Ali and
Abdul Rashid, 74, son of Wahed Ali, residents of the upazila.
Nandail highway police officer Tawfiqul Islam said the accident took
place on the Mymensingh-Kishorganj highway at about 6am when the truck hit
the duo. Both of them died on the spot.
Police recovered the bodies and sent to Mymensingh Medical College
Hospital (MMCH) morgue.
A case was filed in this connection.
