Personal Protective Equipment distributed in Rangpur

RANGPUR, April 1, 2020 (BSS) – The Good Health Hospital (GHH) authority
distributed 100 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) among its staffs and 6000
masks and leaflets among common people of the city on Tuesday afternoon.

Executive Director Dr. Syed Mamunur Rahman of GHH, a private hospital,
distributed the PPE among its 100 staff, including physicians, nurses,
technologists and other employees in a meeting held at its conference room.

The meeting also assessed latest coronavirus situation and action plan with
its staff on their responsibility of providing treatments to the common and
COVID-19 patients when needed in the hospital.

Physicians of the hospital Dr. Md. Mohsin Ali, Dr. Md. Ferdous Akhter, Dr.
Ummey Honey Tonne Dr. Irina Jahan Aroni and Dr. Nahida Akhter, spoke.

Later, Dr. Rahman distributed 3,000 pieces of masks and 3,000 pieces of
awareness raising leaflets among the common people in a function arranged in
front of the hospital building to make them aware of COVID-19.

He also called upon doctors, nurses and other staffs of GHH for properly
using the PPE to ensure their own and patents’ safety while dealing with
COVID-19 infected persons.

“The citizens should not be panicked, but properly abide by the health
directives of the government and maintain social distancing to prevent
community transmission of COVID-19 and remain safe,” he added.
