Midland Bank donates Tk 20 lac to PM’s relief fund
DHAKA, March 31, 2020 (BSS) – As part of its Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR), Midland Bank Limited (MDB) has donated Taka 20 lac to
the “Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund” to combat the epidemic of the
deadly coronavirus in the country.
“The Bank has contributed this money for sourcing or procurement of
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), coronavirus testing kits and respiratory
equipment supplying for the affected people and also to conduct relief
operations for the marginal people of the country, who became jobless due to
long holiday or lockdown,” said a press release here today.
