Three receives burn injuries in Mirpur fire
DHAKA, March 29, 2020 (BSS) – Three members of a family were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH)’s burn unit as they received injuries in a fire at a teen-shed residence in Bhashantek area of Mirpur in the city on Saturday night.
They are Md Zakir, 45, his wife Rani, 35 and their child Riyadh Hossain Jihad, 16.
DMCH Police Camp’s police in-charge (inspector) Md Bachchu Miah confirmed the incident.
Fire Service and Civil Defence Headquarters duty officer Md Ershad Hossain said the reason of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
