Fisheries ministry distributes 12,566 PPEs among doctors
DHAKA, March 24, 2020 (BSS) – In a bid to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), the Fisheries and Livestock Ministry has distributed 12,566 Personal Protection Equipments (PPEs) among doctors, nurses and other health service providers across the country.
Following an order of Fisheries and Livestock Minister SM Rezaul Karim, the district and upazila level offices of the Department of Livestock Services under the eight divisional offices started distribution of PPEs across the country on Monday, said a press release here today.
The ministry distributed 12,566 PPEs so far, the release added.
