DHAKA, March 22, 2020 (BSS) – Awami League (AL) General Secretary and
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today urged party leaders
and workers to conduct programmes for creating public awareness on coronavirus
(COVID-19).
The party leaders and staff should maintain health rules to fight
against the coronavirus and conduct programmes to create public awareness in
this regard, he said in a statement today.
Quader sought cooperation of all to encourage the people to follow the
government’s instructions published in the media.
He asked all to avoid public programmes to prevent the spread of
coronavirus in the country.
Quader also urged leaders to prepare a list of the recently returned
foreigners at union, ward, village and city level and inform the local level
administration and concerned health department.
