PM mourns death of Dr Dharmasen Mohathero
DHAKA, March 21, 2020 (BSS) – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of 12th Sangharaj Dr Dharmasen Mohathero, the highest religious leader of the Buddhist community in Bangladesh.
In a condolence message, the prime minister prayed for salvation of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved Buddhist community.
Dr Dharmasen breathed his last at a Chattogram hospital in the early hours of today. He had been suffering from old-age complications for a long time.
