Saudi backed woman fined for not in home quarantine in Jamalpur
JAMALPUR, March 18, 2020 (BSS)-A mobile court fined a Saudi backed woman
for violating instruction for staying home quarantine in the town this
afternoon.
The woman at village Bagabaid in Jamalpur Sadar Upazila returned home from
Saudi Arab on March 14. After arrival she did not follow the rule of staying
home quarantine , set compulsory by the health department and continued to
move around public places.
On being informed, Executive Magistrate, Mahmuda Begum raided the house
and found her not at home. When she returned home from market the on duty
magistrate fined her TK 10 thousand.
Mahmuda said the woman is among 29 listed returnees who have been wanted as
per health department record.
