Khaleque vows to turn Khulna a healthy and clean city

KHULNA, March 14, 2020 (BSS) – Mayor of Khulna City Corporation (KCC)
Talukder Abdul Khaleque asked all the officials and staffs concerned to
render their duties with utmost sincerity and honesty to make the efforts of
making the city neat and clean.

“I’m committed to build the city green, clean, healthy and eco-friendly
within the shortest possible time as per demands of the city dwellers”, he
said while addressing the National Conference and 37th Annual General Meeting
of Bangladesh Society of Anesthesiologist (BSA) held at a hotel in the city
here on Friday afternoon as chief guest.

The BSA-Khulna unit organized the event while President of BSA’s central
Professor Devabrata Banik presided over the function.

Secretary of BSA central Professor Dr Kawsar Sardar, Vice-Principal of Khulna
Medical College Hospital and General Secretary of BSA in Khulna Dr. Mehdi
Nawaz, addressed the function as special guests.

The chief guest sought whole-hearted cooperation of the city dwellers to
supplement the city corporation’s efforts as without their support the
cherished goal could not achieved.

Khaleque asks his staffs to motivate the people against dumping
household wastes besides the roads and other public places haphazardly.
