HC recalls bail order for Khaleda in Narail defamation case
DHAKA, March 12, 2020 (BSS) – The High Court (HC) today recalled its earlier order giving bail to BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia in a defamation case filed against her in Narail.
“Unsigned order recalled,” said a High Court division bench comprising Justice Md Abu Zafor Siddique and Justice ASM Abdul Mobin.
The same High Court bench in the morning had allowed the BNP chief bail in the case.
Raihan Faruki Imam, children of a Freedom Fighter family, filed the case against Khaleda on December 24, 2015, for making derogatory remarks about the number of martyrs in War of Liberation.
