Two workers die in Ctg road mishap
CHATTOGRAM, March 12, 2020 (BSS) – Two construction workers were killed in
a road accident in Chunuti area on the Chattogram -Cox’s Bazar Highway under
Lohagara upazila of the district this morning.
The victims were identified as Abdul Hakim, 27, and Ismail Hossain, 34,
both hailed from Harbang area under Chokoria upazila of Cox’s Bazar district.
Police said locally known as Nasimon a vehicle carrying construction
materials, lost control over its steering on the way to Aziznagar from Bottli
area of the upazila fell down beside the ditch on the Banpukur on Chattogram-
Cox’s Bazar Highway of Chunuti area under Lohagara upazila around 10 pm last
night.
Local brought them to Lohagara health complex where they succumbed to their
injuries around 6 am today, hospital sources said.
Another worker also injured in the accident.
