Youth held with pistol in Magura
MAGURA, March 11, 2020 (BSS) – Detective Branch of police in a drive held a
youth with a foreign pistol in the town today.
The youth was identified as Sobuj, 35, hailed from Chandpur district.
Officer-in-Charge of Magura DB police Nasir Hossain said acting on
information, they conducted a raid in a hotel adjacent to Magura 250 bed
Hospital and found the Chinese made pistol with one round of bullet from his
luggage at around 5 pm .
In the preliminary interrogation, the detainee confessed that he boarded
the hotel with the fire arms, procured from Benapole bordering area for sale.
The detainee has also been wanted in narcotics and women and children
repression acts cases , the sources said
