Govt. Jubilee School post win in school hockey
DHAKA, March 11, 2020 (BSS)- Govt. Jubilee School of Dinajpur came from
behind to register a 3-1 goal victory over Armanitola Govt. High School in a
final round match of the Bangabandhu National School Hockey competition held
today (Wednesday) at Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium.
In the day’s match, Ali Hossain put Armanitola ahead early in the 2nd
minute while Mohammad Morsalin restored the parity for Jubilee in the 13rd
minute of the match.
Jubilee took lead when Mohammad Raihan scored the second goal in the 54th
minute while Morsalin sealed the victory scoring his second and third for the
team in the 59th minute of the match.
In the day’s second match, Keramotia School of Rangpur shared point with
Shishu Niketon of Rangpur when their match ended in a 1-1 goal draw held at
the same venue.
In the day’s proceeding, Sifat Mia scored for Keramotia in the 48th minute
but their lead lasted for few minutes as Aminur Rahman restored the parity
for Shishu Niketon in the 50th minute of the match.
