BNP speaking nonsense over coronavirus: Nasim

DHAKA, March 10, 2020 (BSS) – Castigating BNP for uttering negative
statements over any issue to oppose the government, Awami League Presidium
Member and Central 14-party Alliance Spokesperson Mohammed Nasim today said
BNP leaders are speaking nonsense over coronavirus outbreak.

“BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that the
government has concealed the information regarding the outbreak of
coronavirus in the country. It is a ridiculous and irresponsible remark,” he
said while addressing a discussion at the Jatiya Press Club here.

Swadhinata Shikkhak Parishad (SSP) organised the discussion titled “Mujib
Means Bangladesh” with its President Professor Dr Abdul Mannan in the chair.
Deputy Minister for Water Resources AKM Enamul Hoque Shameem and SSP
Secretary General Principal Shahjahan Alam Saju addressed the discussion,
among others.

Nasim said the remarks of BNP secretary general proved that the party has
become bankrupt and how much the party suffers from inferiority complex.

“They (BNP leaders) should resign from their posts….They have no
responsibility,” the veteran AL leader added.
