Hijacked truck seized in Kushtia
KUSHTIA, March 10, 2020 (BSS) – A rice laden truck, which was hijacked in
Dinajpur yesterday, was seized in Doulotpur in Kushtia today.
On information Doulotpur Thana police conducted a raid at Doulotkhali Bazar
this noon and seized the truck. They held two people in the raid.
The detainees are identified as Mizanur Rahman, 35 and Kowser Ali, 47.
Officer-in-Charge of Doulotpur Thana SM Arifur Rahman said the truck was
hijacked yesterday night in Birol upazila under Dinajpur district and the
hijackers brought it at Doulotpur Bazar in the upazila.
The detainees will be handed over to Birol Thana police, the OC added.
