SHAHABUDDIN-JAPAN-AMBASSADOR
Ex-secretary Shahbuddin made Ambassador to Japan
DHAKA, March 9, 2020 (BSS) – The Government has decided to appoint
Shahabuddin Ahmed as the next Ambassador of Bangladesh to Japan.
Ambassador-designate Ahmed is a former Secretary to the Government of
Bangladesh and was also a member of Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS)
Administration Cadre, a foreign ministry press release said here today.
Shahabuddin Ahmed obtained his Bachelor and Master’s degree in Soil
Science from Dhaka University (DU).
He also completed his MS degree in Development Finance from the University
of Birmingham.
