CHUADANGA, March 9, 2020 (BSS) – A sub-Inspector (SI) of Damurhuda Model
Police Station was killed as a truck hit his motorbike near Abdul Wadud Shah
College area on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Milton Kumar Sarker, 35, son of constable
Suvash Chandra Sarker, a resident of Ranapasha village under Nalchity upazila
in Jhalokati district.
Officer-in-Charge of Damurhuda Model Police Station Abdul Khalek said
the accident occurred on the Damurhuda- Darshana road at about 9.30 pm when a
Chuadanga-bound truck hit the motorbike from opposite direction, leaving its
rider Milton dead on the spot.
Damurhuda Fire Service and Civil Defence recovered the body and sent it
to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
