Two minor girls drown in Gopalganj
GOPALGANJ, March 8, 2020 (BSS) – Two minor girls drowned in a pond at Uttor
Jalirpar village under Moksudpur upazila of the district this afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Shoshi Mondol, 3, daughter of Khokon
Mondol, and Srija Mondol, daughter of Bipul Mondol. Both were the residents
of the aforesaid village. Srija was Shoshi’s cousin.
Police said Shoshi and Srija drowned in the pond close to their house when
they were playing this afternoon. Family members found their floating bodies
around 4pm.
