DHAKA, Mar 7, 2020 (BSS) – Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-11) arrested four
members of banned militant outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from
signboard area under Sadar Upazila of the district early today.
The arrested were identified as Truth Sarkar alias Mashrur Anwar, Mohammad
Kausar Alam alias Farhad Nur, Asif Imtiaz Mohammad Ribat and Hafez Md Rakibul
Islam.
“Some JMB members gathered in the signboard area under Narayanganj Sadar
Upazila for launching subversive activities,” RAB-11 captain Lieutenant
colonel Imran Ullah Sarker told a press conference at the RAB headquarters in
Siddhirganj today.
On information, a team of RAB raided the area and arrested them with huge
number of Jihadi books and leaflets from the aforesaid area.
Filing of a case is underway with Siddhirganj thana, RAB sources said.
