Two killed in Mymensingh road accident
MYMENSINGH, March 6, 2020 (BSS) – Two people were killed and two others
injured in a road accident at Meherbari on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway in
Bhaluka upazila of the district today.
The deceased were identified as Azim, 21, hailed from Narayanganj district
and Rajnarbidas, 28, an inhabitant of Netrakona district.
Police said the accident occurred when a running pick-up van hit another
similar vehicle from behind in the area, leaving one dead on the spot and
three others injured.
Among the wounded, another succumbed to his injuries on way to Bhaluka
Upazila Health Complex.
Besides, rest of the injured were sent to Mymensingh Medical College
Hospital.
A case was filed in this connection, the sources added.
