Rain likely across the country
DHAKA, March 6, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department today
predicted that rain accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind may occur
at many places over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am today.
“Rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind
is likely to occur at many places over Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh
divisions; at a few places over Khulna and Rangpur division and at one or two
places over Chattogram, Barishal and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated
places,” a Met office bulletin issued this morning.
Day temperature may fall by one or two degree Celsius and night
temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 31.1 degree Celsius in
Sitakunda of Chattogram and Rangamati, while today’s minimum temperature was
17 degree Celsius in Rangpur.
The sun sets at 6:04 pm today and rises at 6:15 am tomorrow in the
capital.
