‘Muktijuddho Mancha’ set to welcome Narendra Modi

DHAKA, Mar 5, 2020 (BSS) – Muktijuddho Mancha will bring out a colorful welcome procession to receive Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s here on March 17 as he is set to arrive in Dhaka on the day to attend celebration of the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

They came up with the information at a press conference today at the office of Dhaka University Journalists’ Association (DUJA).

This platform chalked out elaborate programs to celebrate the ‘Mujib Borsho’ marking the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman which will commence with paying tributes to Bangabandhu by placing wreaths at his mazar at Tungipara in Gopalganj by 100 Freedom Fighters.

Their other year-long programs include: planting of 100 trees in each educational institution of the country, photography and films exhibition on Bangabandhu’s life and works, voluntary blood donation campaign, organising grand reception for 100 war heroes and 17 heroines, distributing food among the street children and holding anti-corruption march and campaign.

President of Muktijuddho Mancha Aminul Islam Bulbul, general secretary Al Amin, Dhaka University chapter president Sonnet Mahmud and general secretary Yasir Arafat Turjo were present on the occasion.
