Mosharraf for ensuring transparency of public servants
DHAKA, June 12, 2018 (BSS) – Local Government, Rural Development and
Cooperatives Minister Khandker Mosharraf Hossain stressed the need for
ensuring transparency of the public servants in discharging their duties.
“Public employees should ensure transparency while discharging their
duties as it is vested upon them to build a hunger-free nation announced by
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina,” he said.
He was speaking at a function arranged for signing annual performance
agreement (APA) with its various departments and organizations at the
ministry’s conference room here.
“The successful implementation of the “Vision-2021” and “Vision-2041″
mainly depends on you people (government employees). If you perform your duty
accordingly it will help us to implement the visions,” he opined.
He requested the public servants to discharge their duties keeping
people’s welfare in mind.
The minister viewed that dynamism has been brought in the government
activities since signing the APA agreement in 2014-15. He hoped that the LGRD
Ministry will achieve cent percent targets mentioned in the APA like the
previous year.
Senior Secretary of LGRD Department Dr Zafor Ahmed Khan, Rural Development
and Cooperative Department Secretary SM Golam Faruk and other high officials
of the ministry were present on the occasion.
