Shaheed Mamun Mahmud Police Line High School notches big win in School

DHAKA, March 3, 2020 (BSS)- Shaheed Mamun Mahmud Police Line High School
recorded an overwhelming 8-0 goals victory over Municipal School of Dinajpur
in a final round match of the Bangabandhu First Security Islami Bank National
School Hockey competition held today at Moulana Bhasani National Hockey
Stadium.
In the day’s first match, Azmul Hossain and Chand Sharif scored brace each
in the 26th and 35th and 29th and 44th minutes respectively while Sayeed
Hossain Akib, Faisal Hossain, Sakil Hossain and Mohammad Jisan netted one
goal each foe the winning side in the 27th, 46th, 52nd and 54th minutes
respectively.
Earlier, in the day’s other match, Keramotia High School of Rangpur edged
past Lohagora Government Pilot School of Narail by a solitary goal scored by
Al Amin in the seventh minute of the match.
Champion and runners-up teams from nine venues of the preliminary round
are taking part in the final round competition, organised by Bangladesh
Hockey Federation.
