DAY-NATIONAL INSURANCE
National Insurance Day celebrated in Khulna
KHULNA, March 1, 2020 (BSS) – The National Insurance Day was celebrated
here today with the theme of “Bima diboshe shopoth kori, unnoto desh gori”
(Take oath on the insurance day, build a developed country).
Marking the day, district administration organised a discussion meeting at
Shaheed Hadis Park in the city in association with Insurance Development and
Regulatory Authority of Bangladesh (IDRA), Bangladesh Insurance Association
(BIA) and Bangladesh Insurance Forum (BIF).
Mayor of Khulna City Corporation (KCC) Talukder Abdul Khaleque attended
the meeting as the chief guest while Superintendent of Police SM Shafiullah
addressed as special guest.
Deputy Commissioner Md. Helal Hossain presided over the meeting.
Earlier, a colourful rally was brought out from Shaheed Hadis Park and
ended at same place after parading different streets in the city.
Officials of local government bodies, civil society members, employees of
different Insurance Company participated in the rally.
