Road accidents kill two in Satkhira
SATKHIRA, Feb 29, 2020 (BSS) – Two people were killed in two separate road accidents in the district today.
The deceased were identified as Gonesh Das, 48, hailed from Teghoria village in Tala upazila and Golam Rahman, 50, an inhabitant at Parandaho village in Sadar upazila.
Gonesh Das died as a trolly hit him this noon in Balia Baily Bridge area. He was admitted to Tala upazila Health Complex where the duty doctor declared him dead, said Officer-in-Charge of Tala Thana Mehedi Russel. A cow was also killed in this accident.
Besides, Golam Rahman was killed as a bus hit him in front of SP Banglo’ in Sadar upazila. He died on the spot, said Mostafizur Rahman, officer-in-Charge of Sadar Thana.
