Motorcycle rider killed in Kurigram road accident
KURIGRAM, Feb 29, 2020 (BSS) – A motorcycle rider lost his life and another one was injured as the motorcycle they were riding hit a roadside tree in Nageshwari upazila of the district today.
The deceased was identified as Mamunur Rashid Sarker, 23, hailed from Nageshwari municipality.
Police said the accident occurred this morning at Uttor Baperi Hat on Bhurungamari-Kurigram Road as the motorcyclist lost his control over steering wheels.
Mamunur Rashid died on the spot. The other rider who was injured, was sent to Rangpur Medical College Hospital for treatment
Officer-in-Charge of Nageshwari Thana Rowshon Kabir confirmed this news.
