Lineman electrocuted in Gazipur
GAZIPUR, Feb 26, 2020 (BSS) – An electrical Lineman of Gazipur Palli Bidyut Samity died after being electrocuted in Konabari area in the city corporation today.
The deceased was identified as Md Royal, 22, hailed from Dhamrai Upazila in Dhaka district.
Local people said the incident occurred at around 10 am when Royal was repairing power line in the area. He was brought at Shaheed Tazuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.
Gazipur Palli Bidyut Samity sources confirmed the death.
