Bakolia Ekadash, Kwality Sports take joint lead in CJKS chess
DHAKA, Feb 25, 2020 (BSS)- Bakolia Ekadash and Kwality Sports Club took
joint lead in the points table with maximum eight points after the fourth
round games of the CJKS-Haji Mohammad Nurul Hoque Sawdagar Memorial Premier
Division and first Division Chess League now being held at MA Aziz Stadium in
Chottogram.
Chottogram Port Authority Sports Association stands at second position
with five points while Friends Club and Little Brother are jointly placed at
third position with four points.
Meanwhile, Abedin Club and Pathorgata Durbar Sangaskritik Goshti took
joint lead in the points table with maximum eight points after the fourth
round matches of the first Division Chess League.
Five teams are sharing the second position with six points. The teams are
Mohammedan Sporting Club Blues, Goshaildanga Jubok Gosthi Chattogram, Agrabad
Naojoan Club, United Sporting Club and Karnophuli Club. Abahani Limited
(Junior) placed at third position with five points.
The fourth round games of both leagues were held on Monday last.
In the Premier Division matches, Bakolia Ekadash beat PDB Recreation Club
by 4-0 game points, Kwality Sports Club beat Bangladesh Railway Rangers by 3-
1 game points, Chattogram Port Authority Sports Association beat Little
Brothers by 3-1 game points, Friends Club beat Panchlish Jubo Sangha by 3.5-
0.5 game points.
In fourth round games of first Division, Pathorgata Durbar Sangaskritik
Goshti beat Abedin Club beat United Sporting Club by 3.5-0.5 game points,
Chattogram Mohammedan Sporting Club Blues beat Karnaphuli Club by 2.5-1.5
game points, Chattogram Abahani Limited beat Brothers Union by 3-1 game
points, Pathorgata Durbar Sangaskritik Goshti beat Mohammedan Sporting Club
Blues by 4-0 game points, Abedin Club beat Agrabad Comrade Club by 4-0 game
points, Karnaphuli Club beat Chattogram Abahani Limited by 2.5-1.5 game
points, Goshaildanga Jubok Gosthi beat Brothers Union by 3.5-0.5 game points,
United Sporting Club beat Satadal Club (Junior) by 3-1 game points, Agrabad
Naojoan Club beat Raising Star Club by 3-1 game points and Chattogram Abahani
