SIRAJGANJ, Feb 25, 2020 (BSS) – Three people were killed and 10 others injured in separate road accidents in the district today.
The deceased were identified as Ambia Khatun, 70, hailed from Raiganj upazila, Shukur Ali, 30, helper of a bus, and Mokaddes Ali, 35, an inhabitant of Ullapara upazila of the district.
Ambia Khatun and Shukur Ali died in a collision between a bus and a truck in Kalikapur area under Raiganj upazila around 11:30 am. In the accident, 10 people were injured, said AZ Tazul Huda, officer-in-charge (OC) of Salanga
Thana.
Besides, Mokaddes Ali was killed when a bus hit him in Pacholia area under
Ullapara upazila around 9 am. He died on the spot.
