Bakolia Ekadash, Kwality Sports take joint lead in premier chess
DHAKA, Feb 24, 2020 (BSS)- Bakolia Ekadash and Kwality Sports Club took
joint lead in the points table with maximum four points after the second
round games in the CJKS-Haji Nurul Hoque Sawdagar Memorial Premier Division
Chess League held today (Monday) at M A Aziz Stadium hall-room.
Panchlish Jubo Sangah placed at second position with 3 points. Friends
Club and Little Brother stand at third position jointly with two points.
Meanwhile, five teams are sharing lead in the points table with maximum
four points in the First Division Chess League also held at the same venue.
The teams are Abedin Club, Mohammedan Sporting Club Bluze Chattogram Abahani
Limited, Goshaildanga Jubok Gosthi and Pathorgata Durbar Sangaskritik Goshti.
Chattogram Abahani Limited placed at second position with three points.
The second round games of both the leagues were held on Sunday last.
In second round matches of Premier Division matches, Bakolia Ekadash beat
Little Brothers by 4-0 game points, Kwality Sports Club beat Chattogram Port
Authority Association by 3-1 game points, PanchlishJubo Sangah beat
Bangladesh Railway Rangers by 3.5-0.5 game points and Friends Club beat PDB
Recreation Club by 4-0 game points.
In second round games of 1st Division matches, Abedin Club beat United
Sporting Club by 3.5-0.5 game points, Chattogram Mohammedan Sporting Club
Blues beat Karnaphuli Club by 2.5-1.5 game points, Chattogram Abahani Limited
beat Brothers Union by 3-1 game points, Pathorgata Durbar Sangaskritik Goshti
beat Agrabad Comrade by 2.5-1.5 game points, Goshaildanga Jubok Gosthi beat
Firinghi Bazar Lucky Star by 4-0 game points and Chattogram Abahani Limited
beat Raising Star Club Junior by 4-0 game points.
