JAMALPUR, Feb 24, 2020 (BSS)- Construction works of eight large bridges with an expenditure of TK 43 crore in two upazilas of the district is progressing fast.
Local Government and Engineering Department (LGED) is constructing the bridges as part of Upazila and Union Roads project in the current fiscal year.
Construction works of the bridges is expected to be completed by June this
year, LGED sources said.
Of the project, five bridges are being constructed in Madarganj Upazila while
the rest three bridges in Melandah Upazila of the district.
After completion of the bridges a new avenue would open up in the road
communication development and people of Madarganj, Melandaha and Sarishabari
Upazila will enjoy smooth journey .
