Police arrests 51 over drugs offences
DHAKA, Feb 22, 2020 (BSS) – Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) in separate
drives detained 51 people in the capital over different drugs related
offences.
Teams of different police stations and detective branch (DB) conducted
the drives from 6am of February 21 to 6am today, a DMP release said here
today.
Police recovered 7,803 yaba tablets, 640 grams of ganja, 200 bottles of
phensedyl, 37 sedative injections and 48 cans of beer from their possessions.
A total of 35 cases have been filed with different police stations in
this regard.
