Dry weather likely

DHAKA, Feb 22, 2020 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department today
predicted that weather may remain dry with partly cloudy sky over the country
having chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Rajshahi
and Rangpur divisions in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am today.

Light to moderate fog may occur at some places over the country early
morning tomorrow, said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.

However, night temperature may rise slightly over the country and day
temperature may fall slightly over Northern part and it may remain nearly
unchanged elsewhere over the country, the bulletin said.

As an extended outlook for the next 72 hours, the bulletin predicted that
rain or thunder showers activity is likely to occur.

The highest temperature on Friday was recorded 33.0 degrees Celsius in
Cox’s bazar of Chattogram division, while today’s minimum temperature was
11.5 degrees Celsius in Srimangal of Sylhet division.

The sun sets at 5.58 pm today and rises at 6.26 am tomorrow in the capital.
