Two killed in Tangail road accident
TANGAIL, Feb 20, 2020 (BSS) – Two motorcyclist were killed and another
one was injured as a bus of Hanif Parabahon crashed their motorcycle on the
Tangail-Bangabandhu Bridge Highway in Kalihati upazila this noon.
The deceased were identified as Emon, 17, and Shaon, 18. They were from
Rajabari area in Elenga upazila. They were the students of Kalihati Samsul
Haque College.
Officer-in-Charge of Bangabandhu Bridge East Thana Kazi Ayubur Rahman
said the accident occurred when the motorcycle crossing the Highway in
Bhuapur Link Road area. Emon died at Tangail General Hospital while Shaon
succumbed to his injuries on the way to capital Dhaka.
Police seized the bus. Injured Asif were referred to Dhaka.
