Two killed in Bogura road accident
BOGURA, Feb 19, 2020 (BSS) – Two people were killed and three others
were injured in a road accident in Shibganj upazila of the district this
morning.
The deceased were identified as bus helper Shohidul Islam, 45, and auto
rickshaw driver Dilbar Rahman, 48. Both were the residents in the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge of Shibganj Thana Nannu Khan (investigation) said the
accident occurred when the bus hit the auto rickshaw and plunged into a
roadside ditch in Kicholk area on Joypurhat-Mokamtola Road at around 9:30 am.
Auto rickshaw driver Dilbar died on the spot while bus assistant
Shohidul Islam died on the way to hospital.
